First Visit & Initial Call FAQs

  1. What happens in my first appointment or call?
Your first session focuses on understanding you: your history, current symptoms and performance goals. We’ll assess how you move, discuss what matters most to you and outline an initial plan.

  2. What should I bring?
Please bring any relevant scan or surgery reports, a list of medications if needed, and details of upcoming competitions or key dates in your season.

  3. What should I wear?
Wear comfortable sports clothing that allows you to move freely and lets us see the area being assessed (e.g. shorts for lower limb, vest for shoulder).

  4. How long does a session last?
Most initial assessments last around 45–60 minutes. Follow‑up sessions are usually shorter, depending on your plan.

  5. How are follow‑up sessions and plans decided?
At the end of your first session, we’ll discuss your goals and agree a rehab or performance plan together, including how often we should meet in clinic or online.

  6. Is your clinic accessible? Unfortunately, the clinic in Moreton has two flights of stairs and no lift, if stairs are not appropriate for you at this time, please contact us and we will look to arrange a home visit for your assessment.
